the circle r boys are a bluegrass music band based in the san francisco bay area. we’ve been together in the same configuration since 1999 or so, playing mostly traditional-style bluegrass.

we’re known for our vocal harmonies and solid instrumentation, with not a lot of fancy stuff—just good, clean pickin’.

we’ve played at numerous venues in the local area and beyond, including the cba’s veteran’s day festival, the wolf mountain festival, the inyo county millpond festival, the atlas cafe in san francisco, the bistro in hayward, and many others.
